Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 2.84% or 141 points to trade at 5110 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 1.89% or 1400 points to end at 75400 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was up 1.68% or 12.6 points to 760.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which fell 3.48% or 10.7 points to trade at 297.0 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 3.22% or 52 points to end at 1561 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was down 3.01% or 440 points to 14200.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 203 to 135 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.58% or 0.25 to $42.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $49.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.10 to trade at $1116.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.28% to 3.8266, while EUR/ILS rose 1.30% to 4.2376.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 96.86.
