Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Insurance and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160), which rose 9.58% or 3.20 points to trade at 36.60 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 9.38% or 0.300 points to end at 3.500 and Al-Ahsa Development Co. (SE:2140) was up 4.67% or 0.70 points to 15.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005), which lost 5.56% or 1.35 points to trade at 22.95 in late trade. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 4.49% or 3.00 points to end at 63.75 and Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) shed 4.00% or 0.20 points to 4.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 77 to 72 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.81% or 0.43 to $53.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.97% or 0.54 to hit $56.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1212.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 4.0453, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 99.61.
