Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 3.67% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.12% or 0.3 points to trade at 249.8 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) fell 0.64% or 1.5 points to end at 232.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.90% or 5.5 points to 607.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 5.56% or 20.2 points to trade at 343.0 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.65% or 370 points to end at 7590 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 4.60% or 380 points to 7875.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 22 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.10% or 0.54 to $48.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.41% or 0.71 to hit $49.64 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.17% or 2.25 to trade at $1284.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 6.6353, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4351.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.64% at 95.02.
