Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.67% or 1.06 points to trade at 40.69 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.48% or 0.1800 points to end at 7.4500 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 2.04% or 0.084 points to 4.200 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which lost 12.39% or 6.76 points to trade at 47.79 in late trade. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 4.51% or 2.05 points to end at 43.44 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 1.05% or 0.60 points to 56.65.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 58 and 23 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.21% or 0.59 to $49.43 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.16% or 0.54 to hit $46.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.18 to trade at $1240.72 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.1519, while EUR/GBP fell 0.23% to 0.8839.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 94.57.
