Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 2.29% or 0.30 points to trade at 13.40 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 2.01% or 0.34 points to end at 17.28 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) was up 1.80% or 0.40 points to 22.62 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which lost 9.82% or 3.50 points to trade at 32.15 in late trade. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) declined 5.56% or 1.38 points to end at 23.46 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) shed 5.31% or 0.78 points to 13.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 140 to 31 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.21 to $44.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $46.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 20.16 to trade at $1255.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.62% to 4.1806, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 97.43.
