Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 1.47% or 0.68 points to trade at 47.07 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 1.46% or 0.054 points to end at 3.744 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.97% or 0.30 points to 31.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 3.23% or 0.76 points to trade at 22.77 in late trade. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 3.09% or 1.12 points to end at 35.07 and Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) shed 2.51% or 0.87 points to 33.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 61 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.59% or 0.33 to $55.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $53.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.90 to trade at $1239.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.53% to 1.0655, while EUR/GBP rose 0.53% to 0.8551.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 100.62.
