The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were up. The TSX Venture climbed 0.15%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.02%.

- Barrick Gold Corp (TSX:ABX): Climbed 4.91% or 1.20 points to 25.62.
- Toromont Industries (TSX:TIH): Increased 4.55% or 5.34 points to 122.69.
- TerraVest Industries Inc (TSX:TVK): Fell 14.76% or 19.92 points to 115.02.
- Shopify Inc (TSX:SHOP): Declined 3.17% or 5.60 points to 170.97.
- Aritzia (TSX:ATZ): Dropped 2.94% or 2.12 points to 69.92.
In Commodities Trading:
- April Brent Oil Contract fell by 1.34% or 1.03 points to 75.97 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for March delivery dropped 1.13 points to 72.19 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for April delivery is down by 14.14 points to 2,918,46 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4329.
- EUR/CAD is trading at 1.4821.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 108.220.
