At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell 0.07%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were up. The TSX Venture climbed 0.30%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.31%.
- CAE Inc (TSX:CAE).: Climbed 13.34% or 4.45 points to 37.82.
- Interfor Corp (TSX:IFP): Rose 9.69% or 1.51 points to 17.09.
- Trisura (TSX:TSU): Increased 6.94% or 2.34 points to 36.05.
- Seabridge Gold (TSX:SEA): Dropped 9.13% or 1.73 points to 17.21.
- MTY Food (TSX:MTY): Fell 4.48% or 2.24 points to 47.80.
- Agnico Eagle Mines (TSX:AEM): Declined 3.45% or 4.93 points to 138.10.
In Commodities Trading:
- April Brent Oil Contract climbed by 0.60% or 0.45 points to 75.47 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for March delivery rose 0.28 points to 71.57 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for April delivery fell by 4.09 points to 2,941.31 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4156.
- EUR/CAD is trading at 1.4875.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.66% at 106.510.
