Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.00% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.92% or 15.0 points to trade at 528.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.95% or 5.6 points to end at 293.1 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.94% or 27.0 points to 1422.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DSV (CO:DSV), which lost 0.78% or 2.7 points to trade at 344.8 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 0.76% or 2.1 points to end at 272.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 0.56% or 0.9 points to 159.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.60% or 0.86 to $54.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.30% or 0.73 to hit $56.91 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1239.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 7.0467, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4332.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 101.37.
