Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.59% or 0.60 points to trade at 38.40 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.52% or 200 points to end at 13340 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.36% or 3.50 points to 260.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 2.31% or 2.05 points to trade at 86.65 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.29% or 9.5 points to end at 405.7 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.39% or 3.9 points to 275.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 63 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.61% or 0.28 to $46.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.66% or 0.32 to hit $48.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.62 to trade at $1241.32 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.75% to 6.4301, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4368.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 94.40.
