UrtheCast Corp. (TO:UR), a geoanalytics stock, surged 41% to $0.325 on Friday after announcing that its subsidiary, the Earth Observation company Deimos Imaging, has been awarded a multi-million euro contract through a consortium led by Airbus Defence and Space to provide a large set of Earth Observation products and services to the European Commission and the European Space Agency. Financial details were not disclosed.
As well, shares of Teranga Gold Corp (TO:TGZ) slipped 7% to $4.35 as the gold junior released results from its most recent diamond drill program on the Golden Hill property in Burkina Faso, West Africa, which included 22.1 g/t gold over 8 metres.
Kneat.com Inc (V:KSI), meanwhile, reported that a tier-one pharmaceutical company has chosen Kneat’s technology to digitize its commissioning, qualification and validation processes, which Kneat called its fourth new top-tier customer win of 2018. Kneat.com stock moved up 28% to $1.20 following the announcement.
