Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 3.56% or 480.0 points to trade at 13960.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.04% or 120.0 points to end at 11680.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.85% or 180.0 points to 21400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 1.17% or 55.0 points to trade at 4650.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.16% or 30.0 points to end at 2560.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.95% or 6.0 points to 628.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.35% or 1.75 to $131.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.00% or 19.00 to hit $1913.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 10.58 to trade at $1266.98 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.23% to 2911.92, while BRL/COP unchanged 0.00% to 891.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 97.36.
