Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.25% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 8.82% or 235.0 points to trade at 2900.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.93% or 180.0 points to end at 9500.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.90% or 140.0 points to 7510.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which fell 3.56% or 110.0 points to trade at 2980.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.61% or 40.0 points to end at 1495.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was down 1.90% or 340.0 points to 17560.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 10 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.02% or 1.20 to $116.33 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.60% or 51.50 to hit $3268.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.80 to trade at $1087.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.46% to 2942.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.88% to 785.20.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 99.34.
