Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.77% or 0.14 points to trade at 7.75 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 0.73% or 2.2 points to end at 305.2 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 0.61% or 0.35 points to 57.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 3.64% or 2.00 points to trade at 53.00 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.43% or 1.31 points to end at 36.89 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) shed 2.84% or 1.70 points to 58.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 69 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.78% or 0.35 to $45.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.61% or 0.29 to hit $47.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.35 to trade at $1244.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 9.6003, while USD/NOK fell 0.22% to 8.4076.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 95.49.
