Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.65% or 2.35 points to trade at 26.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) added 5.54% or 0.75 points to end at 14.30 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 4.91% or 0.70 points to 14.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270), which fell 10.00% or 2.50 points to trade at 22.50 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 4.28% or 0.40 points to end at 8.95 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 3.89% or 0.35 points to 8.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 32.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.65% or 2.35 to 26.70. Shares in Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.28% or 0.40 to 8.95.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.91% or 0.42 to $45.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $48.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1106.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.0823, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 98.03.
