US futures are indicating a lower open with Nasdaq sharply down, after big tech names such as Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) reported underwhelming earnings and guidance. European equities markets have opened lower, following mixed Asia trade. US NFP result is expected to show weakest monthly job gain since Dec-2020. Unemployment rate is forecast to tick up and no change to average hourly earnings. The print may support soft-landing narrative and expectations that Fed is close to end of its tightening cycle.
