The Fund is an absolute return focused strategy that invests in a range of Australian and international fixed income securities that aims to deliver regular income to investors. With a focus on managing downside risks it aims to outperform cash and term deposits over the medium term, but with less volatility than equity markets, and the objective of and aims to avoiding negative returns over any rolling 12-month period.

Biography | Kellie leads the fixed income business in Australia and is Deputy Head of the Fixed Income and Multi-Asset combined team alongside Sebastian Mullins. She drives investment decision making for Schroders’ fixed income portfolios and is the lead manager for the Schroder Fixed Income Fund, Schroder Absolute Return Income Fund and several other fixed income strategies. She leads the fixed income portfolio management team and overall rates strategy research across the product set. She also is an active participant in both the cyclical and FX strategy groups. Kellie has extensive experience spanning more than 20 years across interest rates, credit and inflation markets. She joined Schroders following tenures at UBS Global Asset Management as a Director of Portfolio Management, and previously AMP Capital. Biography | Adam has co-portfolio management responsibilities across the multi-asset strategies and funds. Adam is also the co-portfolio manager for the Schroder Absolute Return Income Fund whilst Mik Kase is on extended medical leave. He has extensive portfolio management experience initially at Queensland Investment Corporation, followed by 18 years at Macquarie Investment Management, where he has lead portfolio manager across global fixed income, currency and commodity strategies. Adam joined Schroders in 2020 as an Investment Director for Fixed Income and Multi-Asset and moved into the Multi-Asset team in early 2023, and is a member of our Foreign Currency and Rates Strategy Research Groups. Adam has a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance from the University of NSW and is a CAIA Charterholder. | ||

Biography | Mik joined Schroders in June 2003 and has responsibility for the Schroder Absolute Return Income Strategy. He also has an important role in the formulation and implementation of credit strategy across fixed income and multi-asset portfolios. Prior to joining Schroders, Mik spent 6 years at BT Financial Group, as the Head of Credit Wealth Management and prior to that as a credit analyst in BT's Funds Management Division. Mik holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Government from the University of Sydney. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mik is currently on extended medical leave. | ||

Biography | Stuart is responsible for the Fixed Income business in Australia. He leads investment decision making for Schroders’ fixed income portfolios and is the portfolio manager for the Schroder Fixed Income Fund and several other fixed income strategies. His responsibilities include the development of fixed income process and strategy across the team’s product set, and co-ordinating the research and implementation functions of the fixed income team. Stuart has extensive experience spanning more than 20 years across fixed income, currency and equity markets. He joined Schroders in October 2012 following tenures at Aberdeen Asset Management, and previously Credit Suisse Asset Management. Stuart holds a BEc(Hons) from the University of Sydney and is a CFA Charterholder. |
