Investment Strategy

The Fund seeks to maximise total return and invest in a manner consistent with the principles of environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) investing. The Fund invests at least 70% of its total assets in the equity securities of companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activities in, Europe.

Prior to joining GAM Investments in November 2009, he worked as a portfolio manager managing Continental and pan-European equities at T. Rowe Price for two years. Before that, he was at BlackRock for nine years managing both Continental and pan-European equity strategies. He began his career as an economist at the Bank of England. Niall holds a BA in Economics from Manchester Metropolitan University, an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick University, and is a CFA charterholder. He is based in London.
