Investment Strategy

The fund invests in companies domiciled in the rapidly emerging economies on a global basis. The investment strategy is flexible, share of investment in individual countries and sectors / industries will thus vary. The funds investments are traded in foreign currencies. Currency fluctuations against the Norwegian krone will therefore affect the value of the fund. The fund will invest in companies that are traded in other markets than the companies original homeland - e.g Russian companies listed on stock exchanges in the U.S. and London.

Biography	Mr. Abhishek Thepade, comes from India and joined DNB in August 2008 as an Emerging markets analyst and now is a Portfolio Manager with DNB. His field of expertise remains in investing in India and Latin American equities. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Banking & Finance from University of Pune, India and MSc in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from University of Exeter, UK. Mr. Thepade has also passed CFA level II. He is fluent in English and Hindi.

Biography	Kalapi Darmeci (born 1973) is Lead Portfolio Manager for Carlson Fund - BRIC and Carlson Fund - Global Emerging Markets. Mr. Darmeci joined the company in 1998 as an emerging markets analyst and has been Portfolio Manager since 2003. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University, UK and a MA in Finance & Investment from the University of Exeter, UK. Mr Darmeci also holds a professional qualification from UKSIP (Society of Investment Professionals) and is fluent in English and Portuguese. He is located in our office in Hong Kong.

Biography	Moakes is a portfolio of BlackRock Advisor, LLC. He was a director of MLIM from 2000 to 2006 and a portfolio manager there with from 1997 to 2006
