Investment Strategy

The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in Singaporean companies. At least 67% of the Sub-Fund's total assets (excluding cash and cash equivalents) will be invested in equity and equity linked securities of companies that are listed on the Singaporean stock exchange or are incorporated under the laws of, and have their registered office in, Singapore, or that derive the predominant part of their economic activity from Singapore, even if listed elsewhere.

Chang Qi spent his first year with Temasek in the private equity space focusing on infrastructure and industrial sectors in Asia before being seconded to Seatown Holdings, a multi-asset investment holding company wholly-owned by Temasek. As an investment analyst, he spent two years evaluating investment opportunities across asset classes including equities, credit and distressed debt. Chang Qi obtained a B.Sc. in Economics (Summa cum laude) from the Singapore Management University.

Biography	Joshua Tay, managing director, is a regional investment manager and an ASEAN country specialist with the Pacific Regional Group. Based in Singapore, Joshua joined the firm in 1996. Previously, he spent two years with Paribas Asset Management where he managed Asian convertible bond portfolios and covered the Philippines equity market. Before joining Paribas, Joshua spent some time as an analyst in the corporate finance department of NationsBanc Capital Markets Inc. Joshua obtained a B.Sc. in finance from the Indiana University in USA.
