Investment Strategy

The Tapiola World mutual fund is an aggressive balanced fund that invests in equity markets as well as interest rate markets through different funds. The main focus is on equities, and their proportion varies between 60 and 100 per cent. Fixed-interest investments are made when the outlook in the equity markets is uncertain. In this way the portfolio can be hedged against fluctuations in equity prices. Equity investments are diversified worldwide. Tapiola World is suitable for investors who are looking for returns from international equity markets with a risk lower than in the average markets. Because the value of the fund can vary greatly in the short term, an investment period of a minimum of 4–5 years is recommended.
