Investment Strategy

The Fund predominately invests in Australian listed securities and may hold cash. The Fund aims to hold investments so that at the time of purchasing securities: • exposure to individual securities is within ±7% of Benchmark weight; • approximately 33 securities are held; and • exposure to sectors is within ±12% of Benchmark weight. While the maximum holding of cash or cash equivalents is 10%, the portfolio is intended to be fully invested in securities at all times with cash being held for liquidity purposes only.

Biography Reece joined Martin Currie Australia in January 1995 as a research analyst. In 2003 he moved to London as global equity portfolio manager and head of financials research, before being promoted to head of European equities. Reece returned to Australia in 2006 as Chief Investment Officer of the firm, launching the Australian Value Equity strategy. He spearheaded the launch of retirement income solutions in 2010. In his time as CIO the MCA team has been recognised for strong investment performance and developing unique client solutions that have resulted in strong product ratings, an expanded client base, and industry awards such as best new product 2011, Money Management awards in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
