The Subfund seeks to provide stable income with a high priority on capital preservation, stable value and a high liquidity of assets. The investment universe is primarily focused on issuers and depositories which are domiciled in or carry out the bulk of their business activities in Qatar, however, the Subfund may to a lesser extent invest globally, including in Emerging Markets. The Subfund invests in a diversified selection of money-market securities (particularly treasury notes, certificates of deposit, commercial paper, medium-term notes and bankers’ acceptances), short-term bonds and could hold deposits. Securities and deposits are mainly denominated in QAR and USD.
