The Portfolio's investment objective is to provide a high total return for a suitable long term appreciation of the investor’s capital. The Portfolio will implement its strategy by investing all or part of the net proceeds of Shares in (i) transferable securities (ii) exchange traded and OTC financial derivative instruments, (iii) money market instruments, (iv) other collective investment schemes and (v) deposits, cash or cash equivalents. At least 51% of the value of the Portfolio will be invested on an ongoing basis in holdings in equity securities that are authorised for official trading on a stock exchange or included in an organised market.

Biography | Pierre Lagrange, (Belgian), graduated from the Solvay Business School with a Masters Degree in Engineering (Magna Cum Laude). Mr. Lagrange began his career as an engineer at Exxon Chemicals in Brussels. He then worked four years at JP Morgan in Brussels where he specialised in government bond sales and trading. In December 1989, Mr. Lagrange joined Goldman Sachs in London in the Private Client Services Division. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Lagrange advised private clients and managed their global equity and bond portfolios. In September 1995 Mr. Lagrange cofounded GLG Partners, as a division of LBIE, where he was a Managing Director concentrating on advising clients, asset allocation and co-managing Pan-European equities. In September 2000 Mr. Lagrange co-founded the Investment Manager and he continues to be responsible for managing Pan-European equities. | ||
