Biography | Daniel Tubbs, Head of Global Emerging Markets Equities within Mirabaud Asset Management, manages the Mirabaud - Equities Global Emerging Markets and the Mirabaud - Equities Asia ex-Japan funds. He has experience in the portfolio management industry since 1997. Prior to joining Mirabaud Asset Management in June 2012, Mr Tubbs spent over four years at BlackRock, where he co-headed the Global Emerging Market team and managed around USD 2.5bn. Mr Tubbs previously spent six years at West LB Asset Management as Head of Asia ex-Japan, managing an Asian Equity fund and contributing to the Global Emerging Markets long-only and hedge funds. Mr Tubbs started his career at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen. Mr Tubbs holds a degree in Accountancy and European Studies from Exeter University and is also a ACA Chartered Accountant and is a CFA Charterholder. | ||

After qualifying at Peat Marwick (now KPMG) he spent 8 years at Baring Asset Management, latterly as Director. Subsequently, he went to Australia as an investment manager with Barclays, then AMP, before returning in 1991 to Hong Kong, where he leads Lloyd George Management’s team of China specialists in the management of LG China Fund and a number of institutional accounts. | ||

Biography | Adaline Ko, Director, took a PhD in Chemistry at Birmingham University and an MBA at the London Business School. She worked as a scientist at the University of London before becoming a portfolio manager, and later Director, at Robert Fleming Investment Management. She returned to Hong Kong and joined LGM in 1995, where she became the top performing manager of the Eastern Enterprise Fund. She now manages several of LGM’s major accounts including LG Eastern Opportunities Fund. |
