Investment Strategy

The fund aims to maximise capital appreciation and income returns from the South African bond and money markets. The full spectrum of the yield curve is used. The fund may invest in any form of public or private sector bond or deposit. It will have a minimum 50% exposure to bonds with an effective government guarantee. There are no limits on frequency of repositioning along the duration curve. The fund strives to outperform the JSE All Bond Index over rolling one-year periods. The fund should perform well in times of falling interest rates.
