David began his career at Pictet initially concentrating on South Asia, Africa and the Middle East. David graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a degree in mathematics in 1992 before completing his Cambridge studies in 1998 with a PhD in pure mathematics. He obtained the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Biography	Emil Wolter joined Comgest in 2012 and is an Analyst and Portfolio Manager specialising in Asian and Global Emerging Markets equities as well as a member of the Comgest Group's Executive and Investment Committees. Emil leads the firm's Emerging Markets research efforts and has co-led the firm’s Global Emerging Markets strategy since 2014. Emil started his career in 1995 with Pictet Asset Management in London, specialising in Asian and Emerging Markets equities since 1997.
