The Fund aims to provide capital growth over the long term. The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equities or equity-related instruments of companies located or listed in Europe (excluding the United Kingdom) or, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, deriving a preponderant part of their income from Europe (excluding the United Kingdom). The Fund may invest in companies of any size, including smaller capitalisation companies, in any industry but the Fund will normally have a strong bias towards mid capitalisation companies.

Biography | Simon Rowe is a Portfolio Manager of European equities at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since joining Henderson in 2009. Prior to Henderson, Simon was a European equity portfolio manager for eight years with New Star Asset Management. From 1993 until 2001, he worked as a freelance management consultant and private equity advisor. Before that, he was with Smith New Court and Kleinwort Benson as a German equity analyst in Munich. Simon graduated with a BA degree in history from Cambridge University. He has 29 years of financial industry experience. | ||

Biography | Richard has over three decades of experience in the industry, which started at the Central Board of Finance for the Church of England where he ran two funds. After a short period at Windsor Investment Management, where he set up and ran the European Unit Trust, he began his long association with John Duffield in 1989 when he joined Jupiter Asset Management and in 2001, he helped John Duffield set up New Star Asset Management. On Henderson Global Investor’s acquisition of New Star in April 2009, Richard became a Director of European Equities. He has run some of the best performing European unit trusts and has managed the CRUX European Special Situations Fund since launch in October 2009. |
