The portfolio aims to achieve its objective of steady growth of capital over the long term by investing in participatory interest of the Sanlam India Opportunities Feeder Fund. This fund was approved by the Irish Regulator in March 2010. The portfolio will invest in assets in liquid form and in participatory interests of the Sanlam Indian Opportunities Fund under the Sanlam Universal Funds PLC approved by the Irish Regulator in March 2010. The portfolio will have foreign exposure of at least 85% at all times. The underlying fund (Sanlam Indian Opportunities Fund) will, subject to the investment restrictions set out in the Prospectus, invest up to 20% of its net assets in such open-ended collective investment schemes.
