The primary objective of the Fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation. The Fund will aim to achieve this investment objective by investing principally in equity securities listed on the stock markets of the GCC Countries excluding Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the fund may also invest in GCC excluding Saudi Arabia domiciled companies elsewhere and also upto 10% of the value of the Fund in Middle Eastern Countries. From time to time the Fund will also invest in equity related, hybrid and debt securities listed in the GCC Countries excluding Saudi Arabia in addition to unlisted debt securities issued by the governments or quasi government institutions of the GCC Countries excluding Saudi Arabia.
