Investment Strategy

The principal investment objective of the Fund is long-term capital appreciation through investment in the securities markets of India. The Fund will seek to achieve this through investment in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-linked securities of corporations established and operating in India which are listed on one or more of the stock exchanges in India. The Fund may also from time to time invest in companies based outside India which, in the opinion of UTI, stand to benefit from their operations and business links with India.
