When the TSX hit its high close on Feb 20, 2020 (17,944.10) this stock closed at $4.09. If the TSX drops 50% from its high, this stock technically should hit $8.18. It will be interesting to see if this stock takes into account demand as well as 2x % in TSX?

I think you need to learn decay. the price is readjusted every day at close. there for you do not get a 1:1 x2 on the price as you might think it will be a bit off.
