Biography | Philip began his investment career in 1966 when he joined Canada Permanent Trust as an Investment Analyst in their newly formed investment department. Two years later, he became a Portfolio Manager responsible for Canadian institutional equity investments. After 13 years, he moved to Sterling Trust Corporation, later General Trust Corporation, as Assistant Vice President, Investments, and managed their corporate equity investments and estates, trusts and agency assets. He joined INDAGO in September 1994. Philip graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Comm. degree in Finance and holds the CFA designation. He is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts. Philip joined Laketon upon the 1999 merger of INDAGO and Laketon. |
