The investment seeks to preserve the investment and secondarily to provide current income exempt from federal income tax. The fund invests primarily in municipal bonds. It will invest at least 80% of its assets in bonds. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in, or derive at least 80% of its income from, securities that are exempt from federal income tax. It invests primarily in municipal bonds with quality ratings of AA- or Aa3 or better by NRSROs. The fund will not invest in securities that subject the investors to the federal alternative minimum tax.
