Investment Strategy

The fundamental investment objective of the Fund is to provide modest long-term capital appreciation and dividend income by investing in an actively managed portfolio of primarily U.S. equities. To fulfill its objective, the investment policy of the fund is to invest a majority of the fund’s assets in a diversified portfolio of U.S. equities and, to a lesser extent, U.S. equity equivalents, focusing primarily on larger capitalization companies with high dividend yields and predictable levels of profitability. Emphasis is also placed on earnings quality and financial strength, all of which facilitate dividend growth.
