Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize capital appreciation. The fund uses a growth style of investment in equity securities, including common stocks and other equity securities of issuers, and under normal market conditions, invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes) in the equity securities of non-U.S. small capitalization companies.

Biography Andrew Srichandra is an assistant portfolio manager on the Driehaus International Growth Equities team and a senior analyst on the Driehaus Emerging Markets team with a focus on the information technology, materials, energy, industrials and utilities sectors. He is responsible for in-depth fundamental research, idea generation and buy/sell recommendations in addition to providing depth of leadership to the portfolio management team. Mr. Srichandra began his career in 1998 at Mentor Capital as an analyst covering the communications, natural resources and consumer products sectors. In 1999 he joined IG Investment Management as an analyst focusing on the information technology sector. Mr. Srichandra also worked as a senior investment analyst at AIC Group of Funds. In addition, he worked at Engemann Asset Management as a research analyst prior to joining DCM in 2007. He received his Bachelors of Commerce degree in finance from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 1997. Mr. Srichandra is a CFA charter holder.

Biography Daniel Burr is a portfolio manager on the Driehaus International Small Cap Growth strategy and Driehaus International Developed Equity strategy. In this role, he is responsible for idea generation, portfolio construction, security selection and investment research. Mr. Burr began his career at First Manhattan Consulting Group as an analyst from 2000 to 2001. Prior to joining DCM in 2013, Mr. Burr worked at Oberweis Asset Management Inc. from 2008 to 2013 and left with the title of senior international equity analyst. He received his B.S. in applied economics and business management from Cornell University in 2000 and completed his M.B.A. in 2006 with concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Burr is a CFA charterholder.

Biography David Mouser is a portfolio manager for the Driehaus International Small Cap Growth strategy. In this role, he is responsible for idea generation, portfolio construction, security selection and investment research. Prior to being named portfolio manager, Mr. Mouser had co-portfolio manager and assistant portfolio manager responsibilities for the strategy and its predecessor limited partnership since 2005. Mr. Mouser joined DCM in 1999 as a global research associate and domestic research assistant. Prior to assuming portfolio management responsibilities, he was an analyst on the Driehaus Micro Cap Growth strategy and a long-short strategy. He received his B.S. in finance from the University of Dayton in 1999.

Biography Ryan Carpenter has been the assistant portfolio manager of the Driehaus International Small Cap Growth Fund since May 1, 2010. Mr. Carpenter joined the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC in 2007 upon completion of his B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mr. Carpenter is also the Portfolio Manager for the Adviser’s International Realty strategy. Prior to assuming portfolio management responsibilities, Mr. Carpenter was an investment analyst with the Adviser.
Howard Schwab Lead Portfolio Manager 2007 2014
Biography Howard Schwab has been a portfolio manager since August 2007 and became the lead portfolio manager on May 1, 2012. Mr. Schwab has responsibility for making investment decisions. Mr. Schwab joined the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC in 2001 upon completion of his B.A. degree in Economics from Denison University. Prior to assuming portfolio manager responsibilities for certain of the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC’s international strategies, Mr. Schwab was an international equity analyst for the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC.
