The fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's assets in real estate related investments of all types. It invests primarily in real estate related instruments of domestic and foreign issuers, with an emphasis on lower-quality debt securities (those of less than investment-grade quality, also referred to as high yield debt securities or junk bonds).
