Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital growth. The fund will, under normal circumstances, invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of small capitalization (“small cap”) companies. For purposes of the 80% policy, the manager considers small cap companies to be those whose market capitalization falls within the range of the Russell 2000 ® Value Index at the time of initial purchase.

Jeff earned a BA in mathematics from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Dan began his career in the investment business in 1990 in Price Waterhouse’s Valuation Services Group where he performed private valuation analyses on spinoffs and divestitures for small to mid-size companies in a variety of industries.

In 2012, he received both the Institutional Investor Money Management Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lipper Excellence in Investing Award.
