The fund invests in equities issued by companies in Japan. The thematic investment strategy provides that investments occur primarily in companies associated with long-term investment themes that have been carefully selected, analysed and are expected to experience a long period of growth. Our main themes are Demographics, Productivity, Lifestyles and the Environment. The management of a theme-based fund is long term and the intent of the selected main themes is that they shall apply over the long term, although they can be changed over time. The Information Brochure and the fact sheet will be updated when main themes are added or removed to ensure that the current theme is always provided. The fund is a securities fund (UCITS) that may invest in the following types of assets - in transferable securities issued by companies in Japan.

Biography | Staffan Lindfeldt is the portfolio manager of the Strategic Emerging Markets Fund. Mr. Lindfeldt is Head of Baring Asset Management’s Global Emerging Markets Equity Team. He joined Baring Asset Management in June 2013.
