Investment Strategy

The Sub-Fund’s investment objective is to achieve a better return than its benchmark defined as OMRX T-Bill index (the “Benchmark”). In order to generate a meaningful excess return, the SubFund will allocate between different segments of the fixed income market. To achieve the investment objective, the Sub-Fund will invest its assets, directly or through derivative instruments, in fixed income related financial instruments of governments and their agencies, state and municipal entities, banks, corporations and companies that are domiciled or chiefly active in the Nordic markets (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Island). The Sub-Fund invests its assets primarily in bonds and money market instruments. In addition, the Sub-Fund will also invest in financial derivative instruments such as futures, options, swaps, CDS (credit default swaps) and other derivative instruments both for hedging and investment purposes.
