This Fund’s objective is to achieve a balance between high dividend income and capital growth by investing mainly in a diversified portfolio of blue-chip Canadian common stocks and, to a lesser extent, in high-yield preferred stocks and interest bearing securities. The Portfolio Sub-Advisor focuses primarily on high-quality, undervalued common stocks. The Portfolio Sub-Advisor’s selections seek to give preference to capital preservation and capital growth, while providing a high, regular level of income over a full market cycle. The Portfolio Sub-Advisor chooses the investments by seeking out reputable businesses with sound financials that are trading below intrinsic value.
