The investment seeks a total return (capital appreciation and income) which corresponds to that of the S&P 500® Index. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities listed in the S&P 500® Index. The index is a well-known stock market index that includes common stocks of approximately 500 companies from all major industries that measures the performance of the large-cap sector of the market.
