Investment Strategy

The investment seeks total return from income and capital growth. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities of domestic and foreign public infrastructure companies. The adviser considers a company to be involved to a significant extent in the Utilities and/or the Energy Industry, as applicable, if at least 50% of its assets, gross income or profits are committed to or derived from Utilities or Energy.

Biography Brian Weeks joined Reaves Asset Management in 2012. He serves as the firm’s Director of Research. Brian is co-portfolio manager of the Reaves Infrastructure Fund and co-manages accounts on several of the firm’s SMA retail platforms. Brian came to Reaves with analytical experience from both the public and private sectors. He worked as a business analyst at the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”), where he was a member of the U.S. National Broadband Plan Taskforce. Prior to joining the FCC, Brian was an investment associate at Boston Ventures Management, and an equities research associate at Thomas Weisel Partners. Previously he served as an analyst at Circle–T Partners and HSBC Asset Management in New York. He started his career at Refco Inc. as a commodity research analyst. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sorenson was a co-owner and portfolio manager of an investment advisory firm, PVF Inc. He was a Director of the BMC Fund Inc., a closely held mutual fund. Mr. Sorenson also served as Chairman of the Board of the American Life Insurance Company of New York and directed the investment activities of American Life as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Sorenson received an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MBA degree from Columbia University where he concentrated in Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Eberstadt & Co., Inc., and a security analyst for Fidelity Bank. Bill has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Biography Reaves is president, chief investment officer, and utility analyst with W.H. Reaves & Company, the company he founded in 1961. Previously, he spent 11 years as manager of the public-utilities research department at Kidder Peabody & Company, two years as a utilities analyst with Union Service Corporation, and two years as a utilities analyst with Eastman Dillon & Company.
