Investment Strategy

The investment seeks the highest level of current income exempt from federal and New Jersey state income taxes as is consistent with the preservation of capital. The fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in investment grade municipal securities that pay interest that is exempt from federal and New Jersey state income taxes, including, but not limited to, municipal bonds, notes and commercial paper. It is non-diversified.

Erin earned a B.S. in business administration/finance and an M.B.A., with concentrations in strategic management and international business, from Villanova University.

Biography Ms. Mangerson is Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager in the Municipal Client Group. She has twenty-four years of investment industry experience. Ms. Mangerson is responsible for executing tax-exempt and taxable investment strategies for the Company’s client portfolios. Biography Mr. Wlodarski is Managing Director and Deputy Chief Investment Officer. He has thirty-six years of investment industry experience. Mr. Wlodarski supervises the development and implementation of investment strategies for the Company’s client portfolios. His specialty focus includes private client portfolios, tax efficient, income oriented strategies and ESG mandates. Through early 2015, Mr. Wlodarski served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Fixed Income Portfolio Management for the Company. Biography Mr. Vande Velde is a portfolio manager of the municipal bond capabilities. Mr. Vande Velde joined Lord Abbett in 2007, and was named Partner in 2012. His prior experience includes Portfolio Manager at McDonnell Investment Management and Municipal Surveillance Analyst at Van Kampen Investments. Mr. Vande Velde received a BBA from Loyola University and an MBA from DePaul University. He has been in the investment business since 1990.
