Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the Small/Mid Cap Equity Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities (including common and preferred stocks) of small and medium-sized companies, ETFs based on small and medium-sized capitalization indexes and securities of REITs. It will invest primarily in common stocks of U.S. companies with market capitalizations in the range of companies in the Russell 2500 Index at the time of purchase.
