The investment seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital with lower volatility than broader equity markets. The fund invests at least 80%, under normal circumstances, of the value of its net assets in equity securities. It will invest in publicly-traded equity securities, including common stock, preferred stock and depositary receipts, of companies of all market capitalizations. The fund may invest up to 70% of its assets in the equity securities of non-U.S. issuers, including companies that conduct their principal business activities in emerging markets or whose securities are traded principally on exchanges in emerging markets.

Matt has more than two decades of experience in financial services and the investment management industry. Biography | Mr. Stahl joined Wellington Management in 1998, where he currently serves as Director of Investment Strategy and Risk. As director of Investment Strategy and Risk, Kent conducts research on investment trends and focuses on major risks across our entire suite of equity, asset allocation, hedge fund, and fixed income approaches. While our firm does not have a traditional Chief Investment Officer, Kent and his team fulfill many of the elements that a CIO at other organizations would typically be responsible for overseeing.
