In this video, we explore the results from the most recent Statistics Canada GDP numbers, shedding light on the concerning economic situation in Canada. As the nation teeters on the edge of a recession, we break down the key factors, and asses the potential impact this information has on the Bank of Canada's next rate decision, and on the Canadian economy.

In this episode we also look at the latest Federal Reserve rate decision and the ISM Manufacturing PMI for October.

We'll look at earnings from Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN), AMD (NASDAQ:AMD), Stellantis, Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT), CVS and Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ:KHC), and tell you about the last-minute decision the government made to extend the filing deadline for the Underused Housing Tax. Finally on today's show, we look at why shares of WeWork are down 50% today.

Recession? A bag of sub prime limes costs $7.50 at a major retailer. Recession is the least of anyone's problems.

Well inflation being sticky and a recession simultaneously just paints a more grim picture. Ie you can survive inflation if you have a job, but what will 10% of the population do if laid off and still facing these prices
