Talk of inflation is nearly constant these days. Following the titanic amounts of cash doled out to the pandemic stalled economies of the world the expectation of rising prices was inevitable. Currently running above .04, in the US and likely higher in China, the FED announced in mid-June that they expected to raise interest rates sometime in 2023, an advancement from the previously expected 2024. Nearly as constant as the talk of inflation is the chatter about bonds, a subject of confusion in itself. Inflation is a crucial feature of economics, and understanding of which is no less crucial to traders as well as investors. Join our host Seth Julian MBA, longtime market trader, EU registered securities dealer and Alvexo Chief Global Strategist, to learn which assets are directly (and those that are indirectly) affected by rising prices and how to exploit opportunities to avail ourselves of the trading opportunities they present.

What is inflation and why does it occur
Why do central banks WANT a certain amount of inflation to occur
Which assets are likely affected
What directions do assets move when prices rise and why
