Vanguard Funds Public Limited Company - Vanguard U.K. Gilt UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Vanguard Group (Ireland) Limited. The fund is co-managed by Vanguard Asset Management, Limited and The Vanguard Group, Inc. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United Kingdom. The fund invests in the British pound denominated, fixed-rate government bonds with maturities greater than one year. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays Sterling Gilt Float Adjusted Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as Vanguard Funds Public Limited Company - Vanguard U.K. Government Bond UCITS ETF. Vanguard Funds Public Limited Company - Vanguard U.K. Gilt UCITS ETF was formed on May 22, 2012 and is domiciled in Ireland.
