Investment Strategy

The investment objective is to provide long term capital appreciation and protection of invested capital, as well as the ability to earn high income. In general, the fund invests in corporate and government bonds and debentures, mortgage-backed securities and first mortgages. Funds are currently invested mainly in Government of Canada, provincial and corporate bonds and debentures.

Biography	Arthur Yeates is the lead manager for Fiera Sceptre's active Canadian fixed income portfolios with assets under management of more than $8 billion. Mr. Yeates is a graduate of the University of Guelph (Bachelor of Science) and McMaster University (Masters of Business Administration). Biography	Gaétan Dupuis is a portfolio manager for Fiera Capital. He is co-manager for Active Core Fixed Income portfolios. As a member of the Advisory Committee, he is also part of a team of specialists that make recommendations to the asset allocation team. Prior to joining Fiera in 2001, Dupuis was a portfolio manager for Desjardins and a bond trader for the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Dupuis received a B.S. in Economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 1988 and a master of Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1990.
